Project
History
We coordinated all the stages of producing a winter promotional film. The desired result follows the same framework as the Vars summer film, which we produced for the previous summer season.
Our tasks were varied and took place between January and December 2023:
– Writing the script and voice-over script.
– Recruiting actors, including a child.
– Planning the shoot (weather forecasts in the mountains, sunset times).
– General management of the shoot (booking and scheduling activities, transporting teams of actors, production, and organization).
– Creating a custom musical composition and adapting it to short formats.
– Supervising the editing of the video, the advertisement, various other formats, and recording the voice-over.
We imagined a scenario around an urban father who gets noticed at work for his… winter tan. At the request of his colleague, he then recounts his family vacation in Vars. His reserved character downplays his words, which contrast with the sensational activity footage.
The objectives were to highlight the diversity of the Vars region, showcase the mountain domain & its activities, and immerse the audience in a dynamic story composed of impactful moments and experiences.
