Project
History
The resort of Vars, located in the Hautes Alpes department, is a prime location for outdoor sports and one of the best places for trail running.
But, like many ski resorts, the summer season needs highlights to boost visitor numbers. This is the mission fulfilled by the Vars Mountain Trail, which we have been organizing for the past eight years.
Five race formats and a dedicated children’s event allow us to reach different audiences.
Every summer, nearly 2,500 people come to Vars to hike the peaks or cheer on their loved ones in a festive, family-friendly atmosphere. Our strengths for this event are our knowledge of the mountain environment and our ability to respond quickly to its unpredictable nature, meticulous organization, and a targeted and effective communication plan to ensure significant media coverage.
